It'd be nice from a usability standpoint (and for my lazy self) if the Network list in the "Add Network Login" window had a Google Talk option that hid away all of the Jabber-related details, so that the user wouldn't have to look that stuff up and could simply enter their username and password.

Add toaster pop-up notifications for events in the Event Notifier plugin.

  • Probably include the ability to style with XAML.

Ideas:

  • Option for the amount of time a toaster stays visible
  • Close button (optional?) to get rid of pesky pop-ups, or perhaps clicking anywhere on a popup to close it
  • Perhaps clicking on pop-ups to perform certain actions (like opening a conversation tab when you click on a sign on notification)

Buddy icons have always been sort of gimped in shaim, so we're going to correct that situation for 0.5.

  • Fix OscarLib's icon downloading support (task #2)
  • Implement icon downloading support in MsnLib (task #3)
  • Add UI for uploading a buddy icon. A decision needs to be made on whether buddy icons will be per-account or per-protocol, as different protocols support different image styles. If it's per-account, protocol plugins should have some mechanism for announcing their icon capabilities so an invalid icon doesn't get uploaded.
